* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The westernmost shear line fragment located
just north of Yap and Palau will continue to gradually lift
northwest of the area, and winds have begun to diminish across the
region. However, seas remain elevated this afternoon, with
satellite altimetry indicating 7 to 10 foot seas just west of Yap
and 8 to 11 foot seas near Palau. As the shear line fragment moves
away and winds diminish further, seas are expected to relax below
10 feet for the end of the week.
