…SNOW CONTINUES FOR NORTHERN PANHANDLE…

.Snow fall is exceeding expectations for Haines Highway,
prompting an issuance of a Winter Storm Warning through tonight.
Spotter reports indicate 7 inches of snow out the road so far,
with an additional 5 to 8 inches of snow expected overnight.

For Klondike Highway near White Pass snow continues into tonight
with an additional 6 to 10 inches expected.

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 6
to 10 inches.

* WHERE…Klondike Highway mainly near White Pass.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult.
