Winter Weather Advisory issued February 26 at 2:22PM AKST until February 27 at 9:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Drifting snow with periods of blowing snow reducing
visibility to one half of a mile or less at times. Winds
gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Western Arctic Coast.

* WHEN…Until 9 PM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. Large snow drifts may form. Dangerously cold wind
chills as low as 50 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed
skin in as little as 5 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Blowing and drifting snow may continue
through Sunday.
