.The Ohio River has crested and will continue to fall from Mount
Vernon, Indiana to Golconda, Illinois.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Shawneetown.

* WHEN…Until early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 43.0 feet, Several county roads are closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 AM CST Thursday the stage was 41.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Saturday morning and continue falling to 20.9 feet Sunday,
March 09.
– Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
