* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. The formation
of an ice jam could result in sudden rises of water, leading to a
rapid flooding situation. Ice jams can cause water level
fluctuations of 1 to 3 feet over a very short time period and
without much notice.

– At 718 PM CST, At 720 pm, emergency management reported that
an ice jam remains in the Loup River near Columbus. Flooding
is already occurring, and Highway 30 is now closed.
