* WHEN…For the High Surf Advisory, until 5 PM ChST this evening.
For the High Rip Current Risk, through late Sunday night.
* IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…North swell is expected to subside enough
to allow for the rip current risk and surf along north facing
reefs to fall below hazardous levels this afternoon. Meanwhile,
elevated northeast trade swell will continue to bring a high
risk of rip currents along east facing reefs through Sunday
night.
