Wind Advisory issued February 27 at 8:15PM CST until February 28 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Des Moines IA

* WHAT…Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with widespread gusts 40 to 45
mph, and gusts 50 mph or more possible north.

* WHERE…Much of central and northern Iowa.

* WHEN…From 10 AM to 6 PM CST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Dry conditions have also created critical to
near critical fire weather conditions. A Red Flag Warning is also
in effect for most of the area along and south of the Highway 3
