Flood Advisory issued February 28 at 12:23PM MST until March 2 at 4:45PM MST by NWS Glasgow MT

Snowmelt and some ice jams were keeping the flow along the Poplar
River high. This advisory is in effect while the river remains high.
Significant flooding is not expected at this time.

* WHAT…Minor flooding caused by snowmelt and/or an ice jam is
expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast Montana, including the following
county, Roosevelt.

* WHEN…Until 445 PM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1218 PM MST, Gauge reports indicated an ice jam with snow
melt. Minor flooding is ongoing or possible in the advisory
area.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
