Flood Warning issued February 28 at 1:08PM EST until March 1 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH

* WHAT…Flooding caused by an ice jam is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following
county, Lake.

* WHEN…Until 100 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Depending on
ice behavior, any release of the ice jam could result in sudden
rises of water, leading to a rapid flooding situation.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 108 PM EST, Fairport Harbor fire chief reported an ice jam
along the Grand River in Fairport Harbor. Flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Painesville, Fairport Harbor, Mentor and Grand River.
