of snow is expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 to 50 mph this
evening will lead to instances of whiteout conditions this
evening. Falling temperatures will lead to any wet surfaces
rapidly refreezing after 5pm.
* WHERE…Western Mackinac County.
* WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and
result in sporadic power outages.
