At 841 PM EST…An area of heavy snow showers was along a line
extending from 11 miles south of Kingsbury Plantation to near
Damariscotta…and moving northeast AT 35 MPH.
Locations impacted include…
Detroit, Nobleboro, Northport, Belmont, Whitefield, Winterport,
Solon, Jackson, Oakland, Cambridge, Freedom, Montville, Knox,
Palermo, Belfast, Winslow, Camden, Alna, Brooks, and Harmony.
This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 119 and 156.
This also includes…
Moose Point State Park.
* Winds in excess of 35 mph are possible with this area of heavy
snow showers.
* Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile in this
area of heavy snow showers.
Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then quickly
refreezes.
