Winter Storm Warning issued March 2 at 12:02AM PST until March 4 at 4:00AM PST by NWS Elko NV

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations 15 to 30
inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph on exposed ridgetops and
near the crest.

* WHERE…Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range in Elko County.

* WHEN…From 4 PM PST this afternoon until 4 AM PST early Tuesday
morning.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be extremely difficult or nearly impossible.
The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and
evening commutes. Snow covered roads are expected on State Road
229 through Secret Pass, up into Lamoille Canyon, and across
Harrison Pass in the southern end of the Ruby Mountains. Strong
wind gusts will bring down tree branches.
