Winter Storm Watch issued March 2 at 1:32AM MST until March 4 at 11:00PM MST by NWS Goodland KS

* WHAT…Heavy wet snow. Blizzard conditions possible. Total snow
accumulations ranging from 1 to 6 inches. Northerly winds may gust
as high as 70 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of northeast Colorado, northwest Kansas, and
southwest Nebraska.

* WHEN…From Monday evening through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS…Dangerous travel conditions. This includes the
Interstate 70 corridor in eastern Colorado and northwest Kansas.
Strong northerly winds and blowing snow may place considerable
stress on livestock and other outdoor animals.

Rain/snow showers returned to the Yukon Delta Sunday afternoon as the next system arrived. Showers will stretch north to St. Lawrence Island by Monday morning and to the southern Seward Peninsula by noon Monday. Showers are expected to be a messy rain/snow mix, especially in the Yukon Delta and lower Yukon Valley where the mix will be more rain than snow. Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Parsons. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Flood waters spread over fields to a distance of 1 and one fourth miles. Several county roads, mainly along the left bank are inundated. Several residents which live along the right bank in the vicinity of Highway 400 may experience water entering their homes at basement levels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM CDT Monday
