Winter Weather Advisory issued March 1 at 7:02PM AKST until March 3 at 12:00AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to
7 inches. Northerly winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
Visibilities reduced to one-half mile.

* WHERE…Kuskokwim Delta coast and Nunivak Island.

* WHEN…From 2 AM Sunday to midnight AKST Sunday night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing
snow could lead to periods of reduced visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A low cuts across the Kuskokwim Delta
tomorrow and Monday, leading to steady snow and gusty winds
across Nunivak Island and the Kuskokwim Delta coastline. While
the primary concern will be blowing snow along the coast,
we’re also monitoring the potential for freezing rain to mix
in with snow from about Bethel east.
