Flood Watch issued March 3 at 2:35PM MST until March 4 at 4:00PM MST by NWS Glasgow MT

An ice jam can occur without much warning, causing rapid river
rises and leading to potential lowland flooding along the river.

* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by an ice jam continues to be
possible.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast Montana, including the following
counties, Dawson, Richland and Wibaux.

* WHEN…Through Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Ice jams near Sidney and Glendive continue to be a concern.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Emergency Managers continue to report ice jamming Near Sidney
and Glendive which can lead to rapid rises in river levels
and cause flooding.
