* WHAT…North winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph expected.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east
central, northeast, and southeast Nebraska.

* WHEN…From 3 PM Tuesday to noon CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds lasting over several hours will blow down
trees and
power lines, and could cause minor roof damage. Scattered power
outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles.
