Special Weather Statement issued March 4 at 2:39AM CST by NWS San Angelo TX

At 239 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles east of Big Country Baptist Assembly to
near Drasco. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Dudley, Lawn, Us-180 Near The Shackelford-
Stephens County Line, Ibex, Bradshaw, Buffalo Gap, Rowden, Abilene,
Baird, Admiral, Fort Griffin, Albany, Impact, Putnam, Lake Abilene,
Mccarty Lake, Camp Tonkawa, Atwell, Eula, and Tuscola.

This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 283 and 323.
