Winter Storm Watch issued March 3 at 1:03PM PST until March 7 at 9:00AM PST by NWS San Diego CA

* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12
inches possible above 5000 ft with totals up to 18 inches possible
above 7000 ft. Winds could gust as high as 75 mph. Strongest winds
will be on the desert slopes of the mountains.

* WHERE…Riverside County Mountains.

* WHEN…From Wednesday evening through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very
difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
morning and evening commutes. Very strong winds could cause
extensive tree damage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow levels will start near 7500 ft Wednesday
afternoon, dropping to 6000 ft Wednesday evening, before
eventually falling to 4000 to 4500 ft by Thursday morning.
