Winter Weather Advisory issued March 3 at 2:44PM EST until March 4 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Marquette MI

* WHAT…For the Winter Weather Advisory, freezing rain expected.
Total ice accumulations around a light glaze. For the Winter Storm
Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
8 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties.

* WHEN…For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 11 PM this evening to
10 AM EST Tuesday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Tuesday
evening through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches. Roads, and especially bridges and
overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.
