An ice jam can occur without much warning, causing rapid river
rises and leading to potential lowland flooding along the river.

* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by an ice jam continues to be
possible.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast Montana, including the following
county, Richland.

* WHEN…Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Excessive ice on the Yellowstone River will continue to bring
the possibility of an ice jam through Thursday afternoon.
