Special Weather Statement issued March 5 at 2:31AM EST by NWS Peachtree City GA

At 231 AM EST, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Sunset Village to Tazewell to Weston, and moving
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…40 to 50 mph wind, frequent cloud to ground lightning and
heavy rain.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include…
Americus, Thomaston, Butler, Ellaville, Preston, Reynolds, Plains,
Ideal, Yatesville, Andersonville, Junction City, Culloden, Sunset
Village, Weston, Lincoln Park, Sumter, Putnam, La Crosse, Howard, and
Logtown.
