Winter Storm Warning issued March 5 at 1:35AM MST until March 7 at 5:00AM MST by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and
14 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains, Beartooth Foothills, and Red
Lodge Foothills.

* WHEN…From 11 PM this evening to 5 AM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Recreation in the high country
will be impacted by heavy accumulating snow. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Highest accumulations will be on east and
northeast facing aspects. Places such as Cooke City will see
significantly less accumulations.
