High Wind Warning issued March 6 at 3:30AM EST until March 6 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Blacksburg VA

* WHERE…In North Carolina, Alleghany NC, Ashe, and Watauga
Counties. In Virginia, Carroll, Floyd, and Grayson Counties.

* WHEN…Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. This includes I-77 through
Fancy Gap.

Vernon, Chipley, Graceville, Bonifay, Marianna, Bradford, Cottondale, Ponce De Leon, Alford, Caryville, Wausau, Esto, Westville, Noma, Whitehead Crossroads, Cerrogordo, Gritney, Izagora, New Hope, and Noma Junction.
