Special Weather Statement issued March 5 at 1:44PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

Recent trends have made it increasingly likely for accumulating
snowfall around Fairbanks from Thursday morning through Friday
morning. 2 to 4 inches of snow is possible with the highest
amounts expected towards Fox and in the higher terrain.

There will be bands of heavier snow with this event so it is
possible to see higher snowfall totals. *IF* we notice changes in
snowfall totals, we will issue an advisory as necessary.
