Light snow is expected across the higher elevations of the
plateau, southwest Virginia, and mountain foothills tonight with
snow flurries possible across the valley.
A dusting to one inch of snow will be possible across the plateau
through the Cumberland Mountains extending into southwest
Virginia. Valley locations across northeast Tennessee and the
mountain foothills may see a dusting to one-half inch of snow.
Localized higher elevation ridges and mountains across the valley
may see locally higher snowfall amounts up to one inch.
Little to no impacts are expected. However, those traveling across
the plateau, Cumberland Mountains, southwest Virginia, northeast
Tennessee, and the mountain foothills should use caution tonight.
Even light snow accumulation may result in localized slick
conditions, especially on bridges and elevated surfaces.
