Snow showers are currently ongoing over portions of north Georgia
and are expected to continue through the early morning hours.
Temperatures will drop quickly, turning wet, untreated pavement to
dangerous, slick ice for the morning commute in the higher
elevations.

ACCUMULATION…Accumulations of up to an inch of snow are expected
at elevations above 2500 feet. Dusting of snow possible in lower
elevations with minimal impact.
TEMPERATURES…Temperatures are expected to fall.
IMPACT…Roads will become ice covered in the higher elevations.
Expect travel to become more difficult.
