Winter Storm Warning issued March 5 at 2:05PM MST until March 7 at 5:00AM MST by NWS Riverton WY

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. For the lower elevations, total snow
accumulations between 6 and 12 inches. Locally higher amounts up
to 15 inches possible for the Lander Foothills. For the higher
elevations, total snow accumulations between 8 and 16 inches.
Higher snowfall amounts of 18 to 24 inches for Green Mountain and
the southeastern end of the Wind River Range. Winds gusting as
high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range, Lander Foothills,
Upper Wind River Basin, Wind River Basin, and Wind River Mountains
East.

* WHEN…From 11 PM this evening to 5 AM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult, especially in the
backcountry. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
morning and evening commutes.
