* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and
24 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…A portion of central California.

* WHEN…Until 1 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning
commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
