Blizzard Warning issued March 6 at 7:47PM AKST until March 7 at 6:00AM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations of up
to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Kivalina and Red Dog Dock.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills
as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin
in as little as 30 minutes.
