humidity will provide a favorable environment for wildfires to
spread.
The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a Fire
Weather Watch, which is in effect Saturday afternoon.
* AFFECTED AREA…Zapata, Jim Hogg, and Starr.
* WIND…Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 14 percent.
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will catch and spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
