Flood Advisory issued March 6 at 9:33PM PST until March 7 at 12:00AM PST by NWS San Diego CA

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of Southwest California, including the following
county, San Diego.

* WHEN…Until midnight PST tonight.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Periods of moderate to heavy rain will bring localized flooding to
streets and small streams, and other low lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 930 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor
flooding in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of
rain have already fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.0 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…Chula
Vista, Carlsbad, El Cajon, Vista, Encinitas, National City,
La Mesa, Poway, Ramona and Coronado.
