Meteorological Summary:
- Near-zero rain chances and mostly to partly sunny skies across the Sunshine State today under high pressure.
- High temperatures in the upper 60s to middle 70s across North Florida and middle to upper 70s elsewhere.
- Winds around 5-10 mph with gusts near 10-15 mph
- Sensitive to elevated wildfire conditions continue to be possible across much of the state as dry air continues to pull relative humidity values below critical thresholds (20-45%) in the afternoon and evening.
- Moderate to high risk for rip currents along numerous beaches statewide.
- Near-zero rain chances and mostly clear skies persist along the Peninsula and Keys overnight under high pressure.
- Mostly cloudy skies will develop along the Florida Panhandle overnight with a few isolated showers possibly developing as the next frontal system begins to develop and approach from the west (5-20% chance of rain).
- Low temperatures in the middle 40s to middle 50s across the Northern and Central Peninsula, middle 50s to low 60s across the Florida Panhandle and South Florida, and upper 60s along the Keys.
- Areas of patchy to locally dense fog may be possible across portions of North and Central Florida overnight into early Saturday morning.
