High Surf Advisory issued March 8 at 2:46PM ChST until March 10 at 3:00PM ChST by NWS Tiyan GU

* WHAT…Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet.

* WHERE…East facing reefs of Kosrae.

* WHEN…Until 3 PM ChST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized
beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Elevated trade swell, generated by the trade-
wind surge east of the Marshall Islands and extending back towards
Hawaii, will keep surf hazardous along east facing reefs of Kosrae
through Monday afternoon. As the trade-wind surge and swell weaken
Monday evening, surf will decrease along east facing reefs.
