At 327 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cross Plains, or 21 miles southwest of Cisco, moving northeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD…Nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near…
Lake Leon around 405 AM CST.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Nimrod, Pleasant Hill,
Kokomo, Pioneer, Staff, Scranton, Olden, Sabanno, Carbon, and Okra.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 333 and 349.

At 528 PM CDT, an automated weather station reported gusty showers along a line extending from near Burwell to near Berwyn to near Moorefield. Movement was east southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Automated Weather Station. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ord, Loup City, Scotia, Fort Hartsuff State Park, Litchfield, Sherman Reservoir Dam, Lexington, Smithfield, Arcadia, Overton, Cozad, Sumner, Miller, Farnam, Elwood, and North Loup. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 212 and 248.

Scattered thunderstorms moving southeast over much of North Central and Central Montana east of the Rocky Mountain Front will continue through at least the afternoon hours. These storms are producing isolated cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, brief heavy rainfall, wind gusts to 40 mph, and small hail or graupel. These storms may also produce brief cold air funnels, which are mostly harmless. However, if they briefly touch down as landspouts, they may cause even stronger winds gusts or possibly some minor damage to trees or structures.
