Special Weather Statement issued March 8 at 3:31AM CST by NWS San Angelo TX

At 330 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Trent, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hodges, Merkel, Anson, Noodle, Trent, Hawley, Stith, Truby, Lake
Sweetwater, and Sweetwater.

This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 245 and 272.
