A line of snow showers along a cold front will produce localized
snow squall conditions with visibility below a half mile and wind
gusts to 30 mph. This line will drop quickly southward through 445
AM, moving across Interstate 90 from Batavia to Syracuse. The
heavy snow will last less than an hour in most locations, with
snowfall rates of an inch per hour. Those traveling during the
early morning hours should be prepared for rapidly deteriorating
visibility as this weather moves through.
