Satellite imagery, surface observations, and live webcams indicate
areas of fog are developing over coastal and island portions of
Deep South Texas. Fog is expected to reduce visibility to between
1 and 3 miles. Areas of dense fog may reduce visibility to less
than 1 mile.
Motorists are encouraged to reduce speed, use low beam headlights,
and avoid following other vehicles too closely while driving in any
fog through the next few hours. If the fog becomes more widespread
and dense, with visibilities of 1/2 of a mile or less, a Dense Fog
Advisory may need to be issued.
