Red Flag Warning issued March 9 at 3:01AM CDT until March 10 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 11 AM to 7 PM CDT Monday. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA…In North Dakota, Griggs, Steele, Traill,
Barnes, Cass, Ransom, Sargent and Richland.

* WINDS…West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 20 percent.

* IMPACTS…Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A cold front will move through the region,
shifting wind direction late in the afternoon.
