Winter Weather Advisory issued March 8 at 1:09PM AKST until March 9 at 7:00AM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations
of 2 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Visibility
reduced to one-half mile or less at times.

* WHERE…Kuskokwim Delta Coast including Nunivak Island.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Nunivak Island has the best chance for
visibilities to briefly drop to quarter-mile. Worst conditions
are expected tonight through the overnight hours. Conditions
will improve Sunday morning when precipitation begins to taper
off and winds begin to slowly diminish. Snow showers will
persist through most of Sunday.
