Flood Advisory issued March 10 at 3:58AM EDT until March 10 at 7:00AM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast Florida, including the following
counties, Clay and Duval.

* WHEN…Until 700 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 358 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Jacksonville, Orange Park, Arlington, Unf, Middleburg,
Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Normandy,
Ortega, Riverside, Nas Jax, San Marco, Bellair-Meadowbrook
Terrace, Cisco Gardens, Cecil Field, Oakleaf Plantation,
Lakeside, Baymeadows and Craig Field.
