Flood Advisory issued March 9 at 10:33PM EDT until March 10 at 1:45AM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northern Florida, including the following
counties, Alachua, Bradford, Columbia, Gilchrist, Suwannee and
Union.

* WHEN…Until 145 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1033 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Starke, Trenton, Lake Butler, Bell, Raiford, Worthington
Spring, Alachua, High Springs, Fort White, Worthington
Springs, Upland Pines, Providence, Groves, Beasley, New
River, Sampson, Lawtey, La Crosse, Brooker and Dukes.
