…ACCUMULATING SNOW SHOWERS FOR THE SOUTHERN PANHANDLE…

.A quick moving front will move across the panhandle Monday
morning bringing snow to the southern panhandle. Due to a
convective environment, snow showers will create times of heavier
snow rates.

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5
inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Prince of Wales Island, Ketchikan Gateway Borough and
Annette Island.

* WHEN…From 1 AM to 1 PM AKDT Monday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
