Withlacoochee River above Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd) affecting
Lowndes and Brooks Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Withlacoochee River above Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd).

* WHEN…From Tuesday afternoon to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 135.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. Langdale Park
floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM EDT Monday the stage was 133.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Tuesday afternoon to a crest of 135.9 feet early
Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early Friday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 135.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
135.7 feet on 08/06/2021.
