Wind Advisory issued March 10 at 3:03PM HST until March 12 at 6:00AM HST by NWS Honolulu HI

* WHAT…Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
expected.

* WHERE…Portions of the Big Island, Maui, Lanai, and Kahoolawe.
Winds will be strongest over and downwind of the mountains and
where winds are funneled around and between the terrain.

* WHEN…From 6 AM Tuesday to 6 AM HST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Winds this strong can tear off shingles, knock down tree
branches, blow away tents and awnings and make it difficult to
steer, especially for drivers of high profile vehicles.
