Much drier conditions returning will allow for relative humidity values to fall near and below critical thresholds (25-35%) throughout the state this afternoon.
Sensitive wildfire conditions can be expected across the Peninsula, with a more elevated wildfire threat across the eastern Peninsula with breezy winds and dry conditions.
A short-fused Red Flag Warning cannot be ruled out across interior portions of East-Central Florida this afternoon if conditions warrant.
Slightly below normal high temperatures in the upper 60s to upper 70s can be expected across the state this afternoon.
Calm and quiet conditions will persist overnight throughout the state, and instances of patchy fog will be possible early Wednesday morning across the Panhandle and Big Bend.
Low temperatures will return to the middle 40s to lower 50s across North and Central Florida and upper 40s to upper 50s across South Florida overnight.
A moderate tohigh risk for rip currents can be expected to persist for numerous beaches across the state.
Dangerous surf of 3-7′ can be expected for numerous Peninsula beaches, with locally higher wave heights of 8-10′ in the surf zone along Treasure Coast and Southeast Florida beaches.
