High Wind Warning issued March 12 at 12:56AM MDT until March 12 at 7:00PM MDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX

* WHAT…For the High Wind Warning, west winds 35 to 45 mph with
gusts up to 60 mph expected. For the High Wind Watch, southwest
winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

* WHERE…Guadalupe Mountains of west Texas and Southeast New
Mexico, and Eddy County Plains.

* WHEN…For the High Wind Warning, from 7 AM MDT /8 AM CDT/ this
morning to 7 PM MDT /8 PM CDT/ this evening. For the High Wind
Watch, from Thursday morning through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles like campers, vans, and tractor trailers. Severe
turbulence near the mountains will be hazardous for low flying
light aircraft.
