Winter Storm Watch issued March 12 at 3:13AM MDT until March 14 at 6:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow possible. Total snow
accumulations between 3 and 6 inches possible, except 6 to 10
inches in the Tusas Mountains. Winds could gust up to 65 mph,
except up to 75 mph in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

* WHERE…Northern and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and
Tusas Mountains Including Chama.

* WHEN…From Thursday evening through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Very
strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Power outages may occur during cold weather
with blizzard-like conditions. Prepare your home and property for
extremely hazardous weather conditions.
