High Wind Watch issued March 13 at 3:30AM CDT until March 15 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Sioux Falls SD

* WHAT…Northwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
possible.

* WHERE…Portions of central and south central South Dakota.

* WHEN…From Friday evening through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Rain is expected to change to snow Friday
night and early Saturday. Regardless of snowfall amounts, strong
winds and falling snow will create reduced visibility. Blowing
snow is likely after snow ends.
