Winter Storm Warning issued March 12 at 8:40PM MDT until March 14 at 6:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
10 inches, with locally heavier amounts of 10 to 15 inches on west
facing slopes. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

* WHERE…Northern and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and
Tusas Mountains Including Chama.

* WHEN…From 9 PM Thursday to 6 PM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Very
strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Power outages may occur during cold weather
with blizzard-like conditions. Prepare your home and property for
extremely hazardous weather conditions.
