Winter Weather Advisory issued March 13 at 2:34AM MDT until March 14 at 6:00AM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 2 inches
below 5000 feet with 2 to 4 inches above 5000 feet including over
Bozeman Pass. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Bridger Mountains, Gallatin Valley, and Madison River
Valley.

* WHEN…From 5 PM this afternoon to 6 AM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions and periods of lower
visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A cold front will move through the area late
this afternoon and evening with precipitation beginning as rain
below 6000 feet but quickly changing to snow. A period snowfall
with rates of one half inch an hour or more is possible between
6pm and 8pm with initially wet or slushy road surfaces becoming
icy as temperatures fall to the 20s late this evening.
